Imported assets do not update name

Question

I have a document with only color assets in it and I just renamed all the colors, I saved it and updated the assets in another document in which contains all the linked colors, the names did not change.

As Adobe Xd do net allow to rename linked assets as linked assets could only be renamed in the source cloud document, therefore for renaming you need to delete linked assets (colors, character styles, or components) in the source document, Then you will be able to Make Local Color or Make Local Character Style and rename them for other project document.

So you need to find a workaround. May be you need to create different CC source document and then use them as "source" document?
