Importing Spreadsheets into XD to autofill variable values?

Question

Would it be possible to do this, similar to InDesign? Is there a plugin out there perhaps?

For clarity, I would like to be able to have certain text set as a variable. Possibly this could be denoted with text having curly brackets around it, IE {VALUE}. Then from there I would like to import a spreadsheet handed off to me by another team, which would populate those empty values.

Does this exist in any way, or is there a workaround that considers a digital workflow? Thank you!
