In XD 55 version, app blinks red at the bottom when launched and crashes

When I attempt to open XD through the creative cloud, the app blink red at the bottom bar of my screen and then closes. I haven't been able to open the app up. I just downloaded the latest version so I am up to date!

I ended up figuring out that it was a problem with my laptop so I had to
reset it many times and it worked out!

We are sorry to hear you're unable to launch XD. Would you mind sharing the details of your operating system and the screenshot of the "About XD" info from the Menu bar under the "Help" section? Could you please also share a short video of the red blink for investigation purposes?

 

Have you tried the below steps?

 

  • Quit XD from Task manager/ Activity Monitor.
  • Close all related XD and Creative cloud processes.
  • Sign out of the Creative Cloud Desktop app and XD
  • Restart the machine
  • Sign back in and launch XD from the Creative Cloud Desktop app.

I'm working on a Lenovo thinkpad laptop! The pictures above were as far as I could get for the "about xd"!

It is the 55.0.12.9 Version if that helps
