Is it possible to record a prototype on windows using the record button in XD?

I want to record my prototypes but the recording button is not working 
Error - "You'll need You'll need a new app to open this ms-gaming overlay link"

Thank you for reaching out. We suggest you launch a recorder using the Windows+G shortcut key and see if that helps. You may also want to upvote this feature request.

Please also check for the suggestion shared by one of our experts here as a workaround.
