Is there still no way to batch download files or transfer ownership?

I need to hand-off a big project to another designer, a team, really.
Not just share as a collaborator but tranfer ownership or batch save XD files as local files. 

With neither of these features available it looks like I am stuck opening each file 1 by 1 and saving them as a local file!? 😓 

Am I missing something obvious? 
What happens when someone leaves their job or gets promoted or even more mundane... just needing to transfer ownership in general.
