Issues regarding to document assets update

We have defined colors in document assets, when I update that defined colors(for eg. color change) in document assets, it takes more minutes than expected time to reflect the changes or sometime adobe xd stops working.
It seems there is a performance issue in document assets which is taking more time to see the final results which needs improvment.

Please let me know if there is any solution for above issue.

    1. XD version?

    2.Which Platform Mac or Win?
    3.File specfic Or with all the files?
    If possible please update to the latest 49 Xd build..

    1. XD version?  49.0.12.14

    2.Which Platform Mac or Win?  Windows 10
    3.File specfic Or with all the files? Facing this issue in the files which have more number of artboards
