Question

Line spacing stuck

When I add a new textbox the line spacing is stuck at 18, when I manually enter 0 it only snaps back to 18 again. When I try to adjust with the mouse, pulling the numbers down it snaps back to 18 again, the lowest value I get doing this is 1. I have no interest in neither 1 or 0 of course but it's acting weird allowing me to add different numbers manually by keyboard and mouse gesture.

When I add a textbox outside any artboard this error doesn't occur. Then the default line spacing is 18 for some reason.

And why is it called line spacing, wouldn't it be more authentic to call it line-height?

    Hi Perrybrus,

Am unable to reproduce your issue.

    - I created a new artboard

    - Added a text box

    - Typed a sentence within the textbox

    - Selected the many lines of text

    - Adjusted the line spacing

I could use any number and it worked. Can you provide me with the steps to reproduce your issue if I did not get your process correctly?

    Thanks,

    Preran

Are you on a Mac? Are you on the same XD build you have released to everyone? I'm experiencing many type errors. Textboxes cut in halv (like reported before), line-height issues as described (or line space) as you call it. Can't change character size without the opacity slider changing, can't click inside the character size box and write a new number cause that doesn't take effect etc. Same old type errors like I've been reporting before.

Am on Windows 1709, am just reporting observations from my testing. I am not insinuating that you aren't facing these issues, just that I am not able to reproduce them.

You can log a bug with the team providing all relevant details using the Uservoice platform.
