[Linked components] What does it need to update component instances in other files?

My team built an UI kit, the file is on cloud. I linked this file to a local file and whenever someone makes a change into a component, it takes some time for the available update to be shown in my local file. Several times it shows that there is an update available, but even clicking the "update all components" like hell, it doesn't update the components in my local file. Sometimes I need to close and open my document again.

I'd like to understand how this process work. Do I need to save both documents? Why clicking in "update component" button does nothing sometimes?

It didn't help. This article says nothing about linked components.

I found this article, but it just talk about how things should be, but the reality is a bit more complicated.

    Hi Franco,

Sorry for the delay in response. Would you mind checking this article: https://helpx.adobe.com/in/xd/help/work-with-components-xd.html that explains the full process to work with components and how to update them?

Let us know if that helps.

    Thanks,

    Harshika
