Local XD file canot open with error code 47

Question

Hi, I have a local XD file which can't be opened with error code: 47.

Infomation:
- I don't have any cloud saved XD file, and other XD files are fine.
- The local file is 213MB with lots of design work, so it is very important.
- I have used the file last Tuesday 2nd December. It worked fine.
- I use PC to design, not Mac. and I'm the only designer to use the XD files.

What have done:
- restart XD, restart PC(win 11), reinstall XD(59.0.12.2).
- uninstall Adobe XD(59.0.12.2) and install Adobe XD (58.0.12).
- open the file in Mac(Sequoia15.5), and open the file in MAC with another Creative cloud account.
- use Creative Cloud Cleaner to uninstall XD and reinstall.
- seems no local copy in Local state?

@happy_adventure8914 OMG....Error code 47 in Adobe XD typically indicates file corruption!

By any chance did you hav version control? Meaning each timee you saved, you called it version1 , version2, version3 etc? If not, you can try Right-clicking on the folder containing your XD file. Select "Properties" → "Previous Versions" tab and look for restore points from before December 2nd

If that doesn't work, you could try create a new blank XD file and import (or copy/paste) from the corrupted file. This may not work at all. I did a video with my studnets where thy can copy the SVG code from XD to Figma. You can try the same but copy to XD.

Other than that, you may need to strat again, and make sure you always save with version controls.
