Lottie animation doesn't continue from the previous artboard

I'm having a problem with a Lottie animation in XD.
I would like this Lottie, set to loop endlessly, switching from one artboard to another, to continue without starting over each time.

I connected the two artboards with Auto Animate, thinking that the Lottie having not been modified in any way would have continued from the previous point, but it didn't work.

    Hmmm never needed that but I think I'd try to match the duration/transition with the animation and cut/edit the animation in both artboards to match the transition (Although that's not possible for an "endless loop"ing animation). Some other way I can think of might be using the same popup in two artboards (never tried it but I've just thought of it) which contains the lottie animation.
