Low quality exports from XD when compared to same export in InDesign

Question

I'm exporting some assets from XD but when I export it at 1x (300x600) as a png the image quality is significantly worse than if take the same image and export it from InDesign at the same size. Why....

I did a test with a different image and XD still has more loss of detail (left is from XD, left is from InDesign)

Hi Rockit_science,Exporting the same image size (300x600 px) from both Adobe XD and InDesign should ideally give the same quality, but the results can differ due to how each app handles rendering and export.  I suggest you try it this way: export the image in 2X and verify that the image shows correctly. Then, through Photoshop, resize it. Keep us posted and let us know if this solution worked.
