Merge symbols

I wonder if its possible to merge symbols in XD. The symbols link across 2 or more documents is kind a new. When I started my project that feature was not ready. Because of it I have lots of equal symbols. They are exactly the same. Imagine that, selecting all symbols that are the same, but not linked, and turn all of them a unique symbol.

The solution that I can see about it is draw all pages again using a unique symbol source. But it will take a huge time.
