Modified date is now changed on open for XD files!

With the latest version of Adobe XD (38.0.12.13), modified date on XD files is changed to the date when file was opened.
This is not the way modified date (timestamp) is supposed to work!
Why would you apply this timestamping behavior - are you performing auto-saves?
I do not want auto-save exactly because of this - I need to know when I last modified my files, because there is a lot of them.

XD automatically saves your file if it's the first time you opened that file in the newer XD version. Maybe this is what happened.

    Hi,

Did you find a solution to stop this from happening?

Thanks for clarifying, it might be the case.

Nevertheless, this should not happen. Application should not change any metadata when file is opened.
