Need help with alignment on XD

Question

I am having trouble aligning text that is located within a button. The alignment section is grayed out. I also tried to do it with the menu, but it does not allow me to do it. Does anyone have any of the same issues?

Judging by the light blue thicker border along the button, you probably grouped the text and the button, or accidentally pasted or created the text while being in Group mode. You can easily verify it by checking the hierarchy in the Layers panel. Select both elements by shift-clicking once again on the button border to add the button to the selection, and the Alignment will be fine 🙂
