Never-ending "publishing" library

I have been trying to publish a shared cloud document with colors, text styles, and components as a library for about 2 days now. The spinning loader has not stopped, and I've tried closing the app, closing processes in creative cloud, and re-opening. So far, no luck. It shows up on new documents as a library option, but I'm not able to share edit functionality with colleagues since it's not done "publishing." Can anyone help?

Sorry to hear you are experienicng issues while publishing library. Could you please try the steps in sequence?

 

  • Quit XD
  • Launch Creative Cloud Desktop app
  • Press Cmd+Opt+T to close CCD processes or you can close from Task Manager
  • Launch CCD, XD
  • Then try publishing again.

Tried this solution a couple of times and it's still happening. My library is really small right now so it doesn't make sense that it's taking this long.

nevermind. figured it out. my File Syncing was disabled.
