Question

Oracle Commerce Cloud storefront design in XD?

I'm preparing to design a web store that is built with Oracle Commerce Cloud. I would like to use XD for the layout and then share the XD with the developers. Has anyone done this? I searched for  XD templates for Oracle Commerce Cloud, but didn't find any.

Oracle Commerce Cloud builds layouts within a 12 column grid, so I can build a wireframe based upon that, if that's all I have to go on.

Thanks!

Hi @jamesh70351631, I'm not familiar with the platform but thinking what I'd do, I think I'd check the platform how much I can customize widgets/elements look and would go from there. But if you're talking about low or middle fidelity wireframes, it doesn't matter much since the development of the layout is not going to be pixel perfect and it can be adapted to the one that's going to be built on the platform, you're going to decide what is going to take place where and other UI/UX decisions, based on a 12 column layout right, and I'd totally do that in XD, if I'm not missing something, and then fine-tuning the design might be done on the platform. I'd talk to devs specifically about this issue if you haven't already and act depending on their response. Happy creating!
