Pausing a free XD trial?

As a Coursera student, I was offered a free 9 month trial of Adobe XD which will be needed for the remainder of this certificate program. I just logged on to install it, but my computer is too old and I don't have money to biy and upgraded computer. 

How can I put my free XD trial on pause until I can afford to buy a new computer?
