Pin icon symbol prototype & permanent link to symbol

Hello,

I would like to know what is the use of the icon to pin on the symbols when one is in prototype mode?



And is it possible to always automatically create the same link on an element present on all pages?
Example: a "Home" button in symbol present on all the pages which everywhere would return towards the home page.

The pin icon denotes it's a fixed element when scrolling.

If you copy and paste the home button within the Prototype view the link should be copied across too.
