Poor export quality in adobe xD

Hello,

This is the first time I try to export my artboart in adobe xD and I get a really poor quality when I export de design (x1) JPG or PNG so it becomes impossible to put it on a portfolio.
The text looks blurry not like on the design. Can you tell me how to fix that ?  I'm using a artboard of 1440.

Couldn't find a solution even from this article https://medium.com/thinking-design/protip-exporting-assets-in-adobe-xd-c586996de703

Thank you

It's 2021... I'm still having trouble exporting images and the color profiles of my program to make designs for screens are still very skewed. What the hell adobe? Your creative cloud license is not cheap for you to make programs that make the export of my hard work look like I'm a newbie designer who knows nothing about exporting for web and such.

Have you guys tried scaling things up inside your design? E.g. zooming out and making things bigger. This solved my problem.

Sir, could you please elaborate in depth on what do you mean here?

Sure,
When exporting images in XD, the images are very pixelated/blurry. Even if
I used Hi-res images or vectors for my design it will come out very blurry.
The color space is not represented accurately on-screen, exporting also
results in muddy colors.

I am haveing this same issue. Been using adobe fireworks for years (yes i know its a discontinued adobe product) but it worked and I could export images with no resolution issues. Now being forced to use xd since newer macs do not support fireworks anymore. I like the program but this resolution issue is a deal breaker for me. How can a discontinued program produce better results then a brand new "always being updated" program. It doesnt seem like its that hard of a thing to do is that the image quality match what you see on screen or relatively close to it. Hey if its because my image file size would be huge and they are auto downgrading the images to make it more manageble. How about you let me choose that so I can get the quality I want and know what the file size will be because of that quality choice. Highly frustrating that something so simple is overlooked in the development of the app. This only pushes me further from dropping adobe products and going with programs like sketch and  figma. Hope this gets resolved.

Help. Please.

When we turned to Adobe we didn't think we would have to deal with bad quality images.

Since Adobe clearly doesn't care, here's a soluttion for you. Brows plugins, and instal "Custom Export" plugin.

Right now it seems to be the only reasonable solution.

thank you!!! this whole situation is sooo annoying and I don't understand how adobe still didn't fix this small but yet such important issue!

Thanks for sharing the plug in, it really helps to at least have a temporary go-around

Year after! still no solution.

Why adobe???

Why we are paying for services and not getting solutions?

So sad and trustrating.

I just experienced the same issue when importing my full homepage to XD. The quality decreases a lot.

I avoided this by cutting the image in multiple, shorter images. It worked perfectly.

It seems too large images are compressed/shrinked a lot. Hope this will help!

Thank you, this is the problem. My image was too large so it got compressed badly. Now using multiple small images. Bit annoying but at least it works.

The best solution for me is,

1. Save as PDF

2. convert to PDF https://png2pdf.com/ (best free coversion site ever known)

3. reduce the size of PNG https://tinypng.com/ (5MB per image for free user)

4. convert the PNG to PDF https://png2pdf.com/ , then combine them

It helps me hope it helps you too 🙂

Now imagine that you have 70 different formats to convert. It's just terrible and there seems to be no fix available.

I've found the easiest way is to:

Export -> web -> and use Preview or Photoshop to resize the image.

Please adobe, fix this and give us more options to choose how to export.

try 4x exporte

Still not fixed. Exporting to any format makes some images blurry. I've found that exporting to pdf and then to jpg/png is the only viable solution.

Hi All,

I am sorry for the frustration. Would you mind checking the correct answer to this post:https://community.adobe.com/t5/adobe-xd/xd-bug-with-blur-link-when-you-share-your-work/m-p/11288704?page=1#M33291 and see if that might be the reason for the images getting blurred?

Hope it helps.

Thanks,

Harshika

workaround from me, in Mac: take a screenshot of that artboard, the result will be better than default exporting option.
