Possessed component resizing its own contents and padding when changing text or background color

When working on our design system components, if one of our team members changes the colors, it changes the size of the component (outside of the bounds). You can see this in the attached. Also, if we have icons off by default and someone else makes them visible, it also changes the size of the component.

This is a co-edited document and all users have the same version of the font libraries etc, XD etc. At first, we thought it was due to font versions but after we saw this happen when changing colors, we thought there must be something else.

    Hi there,

We are sorry for the delay in response and thanks for sharing the screenshot. I would suggest selecting the button from the layers panel and then try to change it colors and let us know if that helps.

If it doesn't, please share the OS and XD versions of your machine. Could you please try replicating the same in a new file and share results with us?

We will try our best to help.

    Thanks,

    Harshika

Both editors on the file are on MacOS Big Sur 11.2.3 using XD 39.0.12.12 with Creative Cloud Synce 4.9.0.19. It does the same with a local file as it does a cloud document. Below is a brand new file and it does the same thing.
