I have the same problem - it's soooo slow to load screens and is also laggy once loaded. Client's not impressed when showing them 😞

    Hi Atul,

A simpler prototype (1 image on each page) was quicker, still not that snappy.

Such a shame as this website I'm working on is going to get bigger so it's going to slow down too I suspect, maybe it will be unusable.

    I'm only using about 20 images at 1440px wide @ 72dpi - all under 400kb so I'm not using anything high-res.

As the other person mentioned, I'm also getting a few crashes since the last update, so suspect there's something under the hood that's not playing ball.

    Thanks

    Nathan

    Hi Nathan,

I totally understand the situation, I would request you to raise this concern here: - Adobe XD Feedback : Feature Requests & Bugs. Please share the thread here after posting, so that we may keep a track of it.

I would also like to know the workflow where you experienced the crash.

    Thanks,

Hi, I have upgraded adobe xd to 13.0.12.14 on windows 10... The performance has been slow since then.. Application hangs frequently...its very annoying and unproductive....is there a fix available for this asap?

    Branched to a new discussion.

    Hi Nathang,

Could you please confirm if you are using Adobe XD 13? I would also like to know the following details.

    -XD verison

    - OS version

    - Connection type (home, work, DSL, cable, etc)

    - Browsers used

    - Link to published protoypes in a private message.

    Thanks,

    Hi Atul

Thanks for getting back to me.

    Here are my specs:

    OS - MacOS High Sierra v 10.13.4

    XD - 13.0.12.14

    Chrome - 69.0.3497.100

    Vivaldi - 2.0.1309.42

    Firefox Developer Edition - 64.0b2

    Connection - work, broadband 100mbps

The prototype takes around 30-40 seconds to load. In Chrome it is very sluggish, and most of the time doesn't scroll at all - clicking to the next page takes around 10 seconds to load. In Vivaldi it's much better, but not snappy. Firefox is the same as Chrome, very sluggish and it gives up after a while.

URL of Prototype is being DM'd to you.

    Thanks again,

    Nathan

    Hi Nathan,

Firstly, I must say it is an amazing design. I have tried it on multiple browsers, on chrome it was taking about 20 seconds to load the first page, however, rest everything was pretty quick. On Edge and Safari, it took 5-6 seconds to load the first page. I am assuming its due to the high-resolution pictures that you have used in the prototype.

Could you please try to create a simple sample and test if it's taking similar time to load the prototype?

    Thanks,
