Real-Time testing with Adobe XD for online prototypes possible?

Hi Community,

I do not use Adobe XD right now. But I understood, that there is the possibility to create and share online links for the prototype or to embed them into other sites.

But is it possible to measure common KPIs like click rate, retention period or visitors in any way with those prototypes? I wanted to know if it's possible to use those prototypes for a kind of A/B Testing. Any help would be much appreciated. I need that info for a university project.

Regards,

Matthias

All XD does is fake interactions using a bunch of jQuery scripts, interactive SVGs and otehr web-based techniques. All this stuff can be hacked, edited, copied & pasted, sliced & diced as you see fit. XD is just a means to an end and you can insert e.g. your Google tracking IDs and scripts like you would into any other web page. The rest merely depends on how detailed you are setting your analysis, a lot of which of course would require to have a paid account on pretty much any of those services. That is pretty much the only caveat in addition to the bloated code.

All such metrics are provided by whatever server you host your stuff on. This has nothing to do with the apps/ web pages themselves. You would have to integrate this stuff using Experience Cloud or use the usual tools from Google, Microsoft/ Bing or whatever.

Thanks! Yes, I thought that this is the way it works. But I didn't knew, if the prototypes of Adobe XD are capable of being measured by tools like Google Analytics.

So if I get you right, that means that if I embed the prototype into a website which I'm able to measure with tools like Google Analytics the prototypes will work the way a normal website would do? And I can embed the Adobe XD mockups into every site I own not only to Behance or something like that?

Thanks a lot in advance, your help is much appreciated!
