Repeat Grid Multiple Images not working on Mac

When I create a repeat grid and then try to update it with a series of images, it does not work.

This feature is showcased in the Adobe XD official tutorial for repeat Grid: https://youtu.be/42VCB42TKp4?t=123 

 

However, it does not actually work in production. Here is a screen cap from the latest version of XD on mac where dragging and dropping images into a repeat grid clearly does not update all instances: https://youtu.be/cytbRpmaMKw 

Seems like the feature is broken, or false advertising 😕😕

    Can you try with a group (i.e. not component) as repeat grid element?

    Hi Kenneth,

    Yes, I broke apart the component, turned it into a Group, and now it is working. Seems a little silly since no designer worth their weight in salt should be using groups for repeated elements instead of components. However, it does work when you use groups instead of components. Thanks for your help!
