Repeat grid with different width elements?

Hi

 

i can use a repeat grid to quickly create a menu, I type out the first menu item, 'about' then create a repeat grid. I drag out four copies, I can easilty adjust the spacing between the menu items.

 

But it falls apart as soon as I edit the text, the spacing isn't the same between each word?

Is it possible to do this is XD? Perhaps with another tool?

    Ah, figured out I can use a group then stack horizontal to achive what I need. Perfect.
