Save changed to Cloud Save

I had a file I was working on locally (on my computer).  Then - For SOME reason, XD decided to save it to the cloud!??!?  Only later did I find this out, and ended up working on the version I still had local and LOST TWO DAYS OF WORK!?!?

 

It seems like you're trying to force users to save files in the cloud. It's really annoying. 

 

If I am working local, the save button should SAVE LOCAL. This was a TERRIBLE change you made to your software. Please fix it!

    Hi William,

     

    I understand your concern and thanks for sharing your feedback. I will make sure to share your feedback with the team. In order to save the file as a local document, the options are available here for windows and mac operating system.

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

    • When you Save as a local document it will open the diaglog box where you can select the folder in which you want to save the file.
    • Save As will simply works as saving to the cloud document.
