Saved versions in XD document missing, option to mark new versions missing.

Suddenly I cannot see the saved version in my all files!
also, there is no option to mark a new version in the same file.

Can save new versions in newly created files, but the popup from the top arrow from where we can save new versions or access older versions is not available in existing documents.

Also cannot access document history from the web version of creative cloud.

Not being able to access the previously marked version is a nightmare for me, 

Contacted Adobe support, but didn't get a solution after spending 2 hours finding the issue.

as per them, this needs to be investigated.

Posting here to receive a proper solution and highlight this serious document versioning issue.

Please help.
