Can you share overlays across multiple artboards?

If I have several artboards that use the same drop down menu for example, I would like to utilize the same overlay art with the appropriate prototyping links connected to each main artboard. Doesn’t seem possible. (Or am I missing something?)

How can I do this?

Yes you can link to an overlay from multiple artboards - basically one artboard can have multiple incoming wires.

I could swear Ive tried it and it just didn’t work.

Is there a setting I’m not seeing that enables this?

I will try it again and report back.
