Shared file seen on browser but not in the Adobe XD app.

My client has shared his Adobe XD project with me, it is showing on Chrome browser.

But it is not showing on mac Adobe XD app.

I have logged in the same account for browser and app.

I don't know why this is happening.

Hi Yugene,

Thank you for posting your concern on Adobe Community. To answer your query, If you invite someone who is having multiple accounts with same Adobe ID (personal and enterprise), it will hit what we call a "disambiguation" situation, where the system cannot tell which person is associated with the account

  • Notifications will be sent to both accounts
  • The first account to accept the invite will then have the document shown in the Shared with You tab in XD app.

Please share the OS version you are using and detailed logs for us to dig deeper if you still face the issue.

Sorry for the delay in response. Would you mind confirming if you've tried the steps suggested by Shwetha? If that doesn't help, please share the version of XD installed and the details of your operating system. 

 

  • Please ensure you're logged in with the correct Adobe ID. 
  • Does that happen with this specific file or all the shared files?
  • Please try signing out of XD and Creative Cloud desktop and sign back in.

Thanks for the reply.

I tried the steps suggested above but the issue is still persisting.

- I only have one Adobe account so no error on this part.
- It's the first time I use XD and the first time someone shared a file with me,
- I tried to signout out, rebooting my PC, and signed in again but same result.

This doesn't help me. First of all, I don't have multiple accounts and mine is a private one.

My mac version is Mac OS Mojave 10.14.16.
