Some problems with "Repeat grid" tool

When I want to use "Repeat grid" on a words (for example "first long word", "second short" and "third") I write one of words ("first long word") and apply this tool to it. After dragging it so I have three copies of the word I want to change second word (from "first long word" to "second short"). Everything is awesome except that the program does not justify new text field width.

Here are screenshots for better understanding. look at the white space after "second short" and "third" at the first screenshot. At the same time from the text field its own it shows that text field is justified, look at the second screenshot. What am I doing wrong?
