Stroke gets distorted when importing files from Illustrator

Question

Never had this problem before.When I import artwork I have created from Illustrator into XD, the stroke weight gets distorted to a hairstring.  How do I keep the stroke weighting.  This used to not be a problem.

There are certain limitations while importing files from Illustrator, please refer to this article https://helpx.adobe.com/xd/kb/import-export-issues.html#SVG-files-with-unsupported-properties for more information. In case if that's not the case, please share a few more details like:

The version of XD, Illustrator and OS.
Is this happening on a specific file or multiple files?
Will it be possible for you to share a sample files?
