Suddenly cannot drop or copy and paste into my XD project

I am having this same issue constantly with the most recent update of XD on Mac Ventura 13.2.1. I have to keep randomly closing XD files and reopening and it fixes the issue. 

Hi @Kaddicat, I actually checked this post of yours yesterday and I wasn't able to suggest anything useful sadly. But now I remembered a simple trick that worked for me in the past and some other designer here for both cloud and local files, if you haven't tried yet of course, I remember copying the file and the copy working perfectly, and sometimes copying only contents of the artboards in a completely new file, sometimes partially to see if the problem is related to a certain part of the file. I'd suggest trying those if you haven't already, that's all I can think of right now, hope this helps somehow!
