[Text]- How to Upload Non-Adobe Fonts to CC?

I want to use a font that is NOT in the typekit library. I have it installed locally on my computer. This is really preventing me from prototyping in Adobe XD.

 

Is there a way, to upload a non-typekit font so it shows on my XD prototypes??

 

I'm really liking how Figma has no issues with fonts, so that's been my work around 🙂

Hi Ragand, 

 

Thank you for reaching out. If I heard you right, you are trying to add non Adobe Fonts to Creative Cloud so that it shows in the Adobe apps. If this is what you are looking for, I assume that it is not possible to add non- Adobe Fonts to Creative Cloud.

 

Creative Cloud only supports Adobe Fonts. I am also keeping the discussion open for our experts on this community.

That is correct!

 

I have a font(a non Adobe font) for my project, but because it needs to be uploaded onto CC and is not recognized. Adobe XD just uploads some other font.

 

Okay, good to know that this is whats needed when prototyping with XD.

 

I will continue using Figma, and push this product with my team, unless I hear otherwise.
