Question

Top layer (fixed postion) appears in preview below other images

I have a big problem with my XD document. I have layers (in a folder) that is marked with "Fixed position". Even though this folder with layers is at the top, other images appear above this layer in the Design Preview. How can this be, if the layer folder is on top? As far as I understand, then underlying object can be seen above it.

One thing that overrides front to back layer order (top to bottom in the Layers panel) is the Z position. Check the Z position of the non-fixed position object (you may have to enable 3D transforms first to see it) and my guess is that it's a higher number than the Z position of the fixed position object. Make them the same (or give the fixed position a higher Z position) and that should fix it.

Keep in mind that changing Z position does affect the size of an object as it moves it closer to you or farther away.

IMHO that can be happened because XD code script interpreted that in different manner than layer are structured. May be it not depends on layer structure.

IMHO that is by default. XD Team programmers can answer more correctly on this request. Lets wait answer from engineers.
