Type Tool Freezes

Question

While working, often when I double click on a text to edit, nothing happens. The blue highlight doesn't appear, after that I cannot type anything, the type tool also stops working. While other shape tools and all remain operational. After saving the file or rebooting Adobe Xd everything goes back to normal. I have been facing this problem very often, as in every hour the type tool freezes for about 3-5 minutes. It really disturbs my workflow.

We're so sorry for the delay in response. Could you please confirm if it is happening on the latest version of XD which is 35.1.? If yes, please share a few more details like:

Is this happening on a specific file or multiple files?
Is this happening while using specific fonts?
If it happens again, please make a note of the timestamp(Local Time) and share your system logs by following the steps shared here: https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/cc-log-collector.html
