Typography box won't let me type to select another font

When I go to change my font from "Proxima Nova" to "Outfit," the selection panel will not let me type.

 

I can place my cursor within the box and highlight the current font, but when I type nothing comes out. I can type just fine within the actual artboards and canvas. I can also select the font that I want by scrolling through the dropdown list. This is the case on all of my XD files now.

 

I need to be able to type in fonts & select them quickly, otherwise this completely interrupts my workflow.

      from yesterday i can't type in the Font selector field either, my os is win 11 pro

        This just started for me. I can't type in the Font selector field either. Tried closing the program didn't work, and XD is up to date.

        From what I've understood based on various posts since the acquisition of Figma fell through, Adobe has decided to stop developing XD and to put it on maintenance mode. Therefore, I believe we won't see any more updates on the software. Apparently, there were only 19 developers in the team, and now there's no one left. So, I think it might soon be time to switch to Figma or another interface design software

          As a "workaround", you can click on the dropdown arrow and start typing, which will jump to the font, rather than having to scroll to it manually.

            I have the same issue i need to drag the scroll bar on right we can't write on the text input.
