Unable to change icons in the repeat grid in XD version(21.2.12.3)

I'm trying to create a Repeat Grid using (Text + icon + button)

when i tried to change the text and the button everything works great, But once i tried to change the icon the repeat grid repeated the same icon throughout the blocks and don't replace it for each one.

Any ideas how to fix this?

Once you've created the Repeat Grid you can ungroup it, change the icons then turn it back into a repeat grid.

Agreed it doesn't work the same way as buttons or text but it is an option to allow you to change the images within the repeat grid.

    Can you explain how to "turn it back into a repeat grid"? I have not been able to figure this out...

    • The OS and XD version of your machine.
    • Could you please share the GIF file or screenshot of the workflow with us? so that we can try to reproduce the same at our end.
