Unable to get the option to update link in XD

Our team has an intermittent issue when updating our designs, we sometimes don't get the option to update the link and are forced to create a new link. Often the previous link is referenced elsewhere so can be a pain for us, especially when changes are minor.
Are we missing something? We can't work out why most of the time we have the ability to update the link, while other times we have to create a new link.

Hi @Aidon24609901kiy1, I've seen an update issue in some past conversations but seems like issue has been resolved now, could you please share some more detail about the system you're using (mac or windows) so maybe someone else with more info can help? Thank you!
