Unable to Locate Adobe XD File on Local or Cloud - Only Link Available

I have created a file that I can only access via a link, but I cannot find the file on my local PC or in the cloud environment. If you know how I can retrieve or locate the file, please let me know.
Best regards.

Hi Creative Explorer,

Thank you for your response.

Yes, I logged into my account and checked the links you provided, but unfortunately, I still couldn't locate the file. As I mentioned earlier, I only have access to the review link.

A Japanese community expert explained the following, but even with this information, I still cannot find my file. I believe I might have created the link and then accidentally deleted the original file, but it's hard to believe this is the case.

The XD document (saved as .xd locally and as .xdc in the cloud) and the review link are treated as completely separate data. The review link is generated from the document and saved separately in the cloud. XD cloud documents are stored as "files" in Adobe's cloud and can be accessed via this link: https://www.adobe.com/files/cloud-documents. Similarly, review links are stored as "review links" and can be accessed here: https://www.adobe.com/files/links.

Thus, it's possible to delete the original XD document while still retaining the review link. However, if the XD document is deleted or lost, it cannot be recovered.

Any further guidance would be appreciated.

Best regards,
青勝

@青勝53_2 in a weird twist....and I just tested this out....and it does work...If you still have the review link, can you please open the web browswer that you used and go to the history and show full history and type in a similiar URL.... https://xd.adobe.com/view

It will show you any files that you may have viewed. This will only work if YOU HAVE NOT cleared your history, and if you have, then chances are slim to none.

For example, I had a test file from September 28, and I created a shared link to test this with your question. I created a shared link, then I deleted the file from my computer. I was quite surprised, because the chances for finding the review link for a deleted XD document are very low. While the review link itself may persist, it's essentially a pointer to a document that no longer exists. The XD platform is designed to remove or invalidate such links when the original document is deleted to prevent confusion and potential security risks. But, because it is still in my history and has been cached, the history is still there for the time being until I clear the history and caches from my computer.
