Unable to open All adobe XD files as they are converted in .ZIP Folders.

Hi Experts,

All my.XD files are converted to the.Zip folders and Now showing these inner files separately like (Resources, interactions, sharing, Renditions, manifest, etc) except the one single icon of XD source file. Kindly do share your valuable feedback on it. I have attached the Screenshots of the folders. I am trying to save it again on another location and doing the same behavior.

It is unlikely that they are converted to zip files, but rather the default program for opening them became the default zip app on your PC.

 

.xd files are essentially .zip files, but with a different extention. If you uninstalled Xd or maybe something else went wrong, the default app for .xd files changed.

 

Go to your file type settings and make sure Adobe Xd is the default app for .xd files.

Have you recently installed some type of unzipping app that may have changed this behavior?

Hello,

Thank you for reporting the issue.

This type of zip files are created mainly:

-  When the user is moved out of the organisation , Admins of the organisation does the Asset reclamation of that User ID. 

And reclaimed assets can be forwarded to any user through mail, from where Zip files can be downloaded.

 

Bit confused in your case , Did you got these zip files from email or Local saved XD files are converted to Zip file.

Please be clear on this.
