Unable to open the local file in XD getting (Error:86)

Hello, i got error 86 with adobe XD. seems like this issue has not been resolve for 12+ years

Was the file created in the current version?

Is it an option for you to try and upload it to your Creative Cloud files and open it as a cloud file?

i made it using version 59.0.12, still using the same version.
because the file was originally saved on my local pc, i do not think that uploading it to creative cloud would be able to fix it. i see no harm in trying it tho

I see, okay, try uploading it to your CC documents through the CC app and see if that works.

If you make an empty document with a few elements and save it locally, are you able to open it? Is that the only file you have an issue with?

If you still can't get it working through CC docs, you can update Xd to the latest version and see if that changes anything. Try the other things first, because some users had issues opening some files with a newer version than the one the file was created with.

In general, the issues with Xd will only grow with time, as operating systems and Adobe infrastructure gets updated, while Xd is stuck in 2020 and is not being developed anymore.
