Unable to open untitled file

I am unable to open the 2 untitled documents seen in the attached screenshot. I have checked cloud files and they are not there either. I also tried looking in Application Support folders but did not see one in there for XD. I never closed XD and it didn't quit. I went back to XD after working in another program and my file as no longer open and now I can't open it. Unfortunately, I will lose hours of work if I can't find it. HELP!

    Hi @katieb_wcreative ,

     

    We're so sorry to hear about the trouble. Please check if you can find the file at these locations:

     

    Windows: C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Packages\Adobe.CC.XD_adky2gkssdxte\LocalState

    Mac: ~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Adobe XD CC

     

    The above-shared locations are the temporary save location for Auto-save in XD, and the best way to look for a missing file is through a time stamp as it may not be available with the same name, so let us know if this helps or if you need any further assistance.

    Thank you but this folder does not exist in the Adobe folder. Could this have to do with my XD preferences?

    The folders should be there. Would you mind confirming the version of the Operating system?
