Unable to paste the text as the paste option is disabled in XD.

When I try to copy and paste some text it doesn't work, when I go to Edit > Paste the option is disabled.

I tried to find any solution on forums but I didn't find a solution to it.

Thank you for reaching out and reporting the issue to the community. I am unable to reproduce the issue at my end on my windows machine and I am able to paste the copied text.

 

  • Is it possible for you to record a video of your workflow and share it with me so that I can try to replicate the same at my end?
  • Please also share the XD and the OS version of your machine.
  • Does that happen with every file or with a specific file?
  • Are you able to paste using shortcuts ( CTRL+V/ Command+ V)?

In the video shows what I said. I was trying to paste a text from a website and paste but it doesn't work.

That's definitely not expected. I am unable to replicate it at my end. Could you please try copying the text in notepad and copy the text from notepad and then paste it into XD and see if that helps?
