Unable to purchase individual license for Adobe XD

Recently, my students have been attempting to purchase Adobe XD without having to buy the entire Creative Cloud suite, but they seem to be encountering difficulties.

Could you please confirm whether Adobe XD has been discontinued as standalone software? If so, does this mean that it is no longer possible to purchase it as an individual software product?

I would greatly appreciate any information or guidance you can provide regarding this matter.

Thank you for reaching out. Adobe XD is no longer available for purchase as a single application but will continue to be supported for existing users. XD will continue to be available as part of our Adobe Creative Cloud All Apps subscription. We will continue to support existing Adobe XD customers.

That is unfortunately correct. Adobe is no longer offering it as a standalone product. I would STRONGLY recommend that you use Figma as their design and prototyping tool. As far as I can tell any significatn development on Adobe XD has been stopped,.

No. Due the offer to buy Figma (last year), they legally can't say anything about it. This mostly reading the tea leaves; Product Managers moving on, Adobe evanligists no longer producing content, entire sites being removed...
