Unable to rename layer name with double click in Adobe XD.

I can't change a layer name when double clicking a layer to edit it's name. It exits the caption box immediately.

Only workaround is to right click the layer and select rename in the contextual menu.

Hi,

sorry, for the late answer...

- It's happening on every files

- It does not work either on my coworkers machines (on any files too)

- all the files are locally stored

Hi there,

 

We are sorry to hear you are facing trouble renaming the layer by double clicking a layer. I am unable to reproduce the same on my windows machine on the latest version. I would like to know a few more details like-

 

  • Is it happening with the specific file or with all the files?
  • Would you mind trying the same on the other machine?
  • Is it a cloud file or local file?
