Unable to track other user of the same account on XD file

A friend and I are using the same account, working on the same file. We are unable to track each other on the file. After every change there's a pop-up asking whether to accept remote changes. What is up? How can we see each other on the file and sync our changes at a same time?

An individual user can sign into Adobe XD in two locations. If your friend is logging in on the same account, then Adobe XD would think it is one user making changes from their other computer.

In order to use coediting (and see each other on the file and sync changes), you would invite a team member via their email address (which would be their Adobe ID), to work on the same file with you. Here's more information on coediting:
