Unable to Unlink Symbol

I need menu to appear with option to Unlink Symbol as shown here:

But instead I get this menu with no option to Unlink Symbol:

What is solution to this problem?

    There are many good up to date tutorials, I'd suggest checking those instead of the older ones, this link: https://www.adobe.com/products/xd/learn/view-all-xd-tutorials.html and YouTube (as you know ;), I'd suggest checking newer ones (again as you guess 😉)

    Symbols are now referred to as Components in XD. The video you are referring to seems to be of older versions which is why it shows as Symbol. If you want to unlink a single Component instance, use the Ungroup Component option in the context menu. However, if you want to unlink all instances on canvas, use the delete option in the Assets Panel.

    Hi @Apozal28231571jzn4, interesting, thinking what I'd do, I think I'd check if I completed all the previous steps (I'm assuming you're following a tutorial or something right) so maybe a "linking" as described might be missing to be unlinked (and as I see it, in the video, there's a link symbol at the top left of the symbol user right clicks but not in yours), can't be sure as I said but that's all I can tell since I don't know much about the situation. 


    Also the version of XD in the tutorial and yours is not the same, I think we're using components instead of symbols now, since I can't see "symbols" at the left sidebar anymore, but there's components? Please feel free to update me 😉
