Updated XD and now cannot work

I just updated XD to version 57.1.12.2, Creative CLoud Version 6.5.3.1
And now, I cannot work work on XD. I am able to select components, text etc, but cannot modify anything.

This is so frustrating, every other time XD sort of freezes and I am not able to type, copy/paste text.
I see many other users complaining with the exact same issues.
Creative Cloud sync issues twice every week. What's the use of paying for such a broken app.
