We cannot open our Design System!

We have a big problem. Our Design system was getting more and more slowly the last weeks. I think, the problem is we have a too big library of components, the program shows a window where they say we have more than 20.000 layers in components.

There is any way to divide that library in 2 diferents files (Atoms and molecules)?? Can I do it and access to the library if I can't open the XD document??

Same issues here. And sometimes linked component will also revert back to the original in files where we have already edited the component.

Hi there,

We're so sorry to hear about the trouble. Please ensure that you have updated XD to the latest version which is 42.1. In case if it is already up to date and still you are unble to open the design system, please try the steps shared below:

Sign out of XD and CC Desktop app.
Close CoreSync and all Adobe related processes from the Task Manager/Activity Monitor.
Reboot the computer.
Sign back in on the Adobe CC Desktop app and launch XD from there and check if that solves the issue.

If it still doesn't work, will it be possible for you to share the file with us? If yes, please add the file and the system logs https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/cc-log-collector.html to a shared location like Google Drive or DropBox and share the link through DM by clicking on my name.
