What is the real future of Xd and Figma?

In the agency we pay subscriptions on 30 workstations: i can't ask my colleagues to learn two software that does "more or less" the same things. What is the real future of Xd and Figma? Which of the two will die?
In 2023 we deserve an answer 🙂

Hi @Eugenio27816975jovd,

Thank you for reaching out, and we understand your concern. Until the acquisition closes, Adobe and Figma will continue to operate as separate companies. Key info: adobe.ly/3BEzZ2n

What’s the plan for XD? Will Figma become part of XD, or will XD be EOL?

We will continue to serve our existing Adobe XD customers. Post-close, we look forward to engaging with the XD and Figma communities to understand ways we could add value.

Hope it helps.

Thanks,

Harshika

Hi @HARSHIKA_VERMA ,

I am the creative cloud subscriber (all apps) .. and learned XD as it was the part of adobe and its in my subscription so i dont need to pay for any other software which is almost same. as figma is going more popular and client required that platfom to work with. so i learned figma too but didnt leave XD. was beliving XD is gonna beat Figma soon. BUT now things changes figma is the part of adobe. so my concern is that do i need to pay extra or buy subcription for Figma separately or it will be in the adobe package for existing subsriber?

if i need to take separate subscription for Figma .. definitely i am gonna leave the whole adobe package.. cause i am not fool... adobe must alow their subsriber to use figma with full feautre from now ...

or it is already happend? please let me know..

If the merger happens (there appear to be some legal issues around it), I would suspect it would become part of the CC subscription. There might be a figma only option, but have no insight if that might be an option. Honestly, I recommend improving your Figma skills regardless of the outcome of the merger.
