Why are you abandoning Adobe XD?

My guess is Adobe's user growth has stagnated. Adobe banked on the merger with Figma to add a big chunk to its user base instead of growing it organically through competition. That plan has fallen through. Their next move could be to aquire a Figma competitor. That's my guess. In either case XD users will get shafted anyways.

@sifarg3970546 I agree with @Chris W. Griffith manually transitioning the XD files to Figma can be a lengthy process ( @Chris W. Griffith have you tried the copy SVG code from XD to Figma) or use the Convertifty plugin?)

While it is true that Adobe's attempt to acquire Figma for $20 billion was blocked by regulatory bodies due to concerns about market competition, an Adobe spokesperson was quoted stating, "We have no plans to further invest in it [XD]," after the Figma acquisition was terminated. This strongly indicates that XD's current maintenance mode status will persist.. Adobe has removed XD as a standalone purchase option, and it's only available as part of the Adobe Creative Cloud All Apps subscription. This further suggests that it's not a primary focus for new users. Therefore, users relying on XD should likely consider transitioning to alternative UI/UX design tools like Figma.

That is in part why they kept it in maintenance mode, to avoid the level of backlash Adobe got after the Flex/Flash abandonment. I wish either Adobe or Figma had created a migration tool. I spent countless hours manually migrating my XD files into Figma.
